Cyanoacrylates are perfect for repairing my antique dishes.

Use very little.  Thin cures the fastest, Medium a little slower, Thick the slowest. 

I recommend you have a bottle of DE-BONDER handy to clean up over applications on the ceramic where you don't want it.  Once it is cured, it is on for good.  If you just try to wipe it off without DE-BONDER you may leave part of your cloth or paper towel on your ceramic.

This is a great adhesive: cures fast and clear.
